The Nomad Teams have been pushing to rack up the points during Week 9 as the competition period is heading into it’s last weeks. Four teams have now passed the 4,000-point level. Eight teams are over the 3,000-point level, nine teams are over the 2,000-level and thirteen are above the 1,000-level. At the top of the Leaderboard Team 117 Lucas regained the first place slot, pushing Team 111 Potter back into second place. Team 101 Mercer held onto third place for the second week in a row. This week the Teams begin “week ten”, the final week of the competition, and the last chance to earn points. A few of the Teams still have Overland Stages to complete, but at the Top of the Leaderboard they have all finished their Overland Stages, so are going to have to look for points wherever they can pick them up. It’s time for the Teams to really go looking for those challenging wildlife PhotoQuests to pick up some more points. The 9th Weekly Challenge, “Wildlife Observation,” was a fun one and the teams who’ve done it have mostly done well so far. One more week to go!
