This will be my fourth time participating in the Nomad Virtual Overland Rally. Each year I participate to learn more but I don’t try to compete or win. This year I hope to gain better understanding of how to use my compass, read a roadbook and basic navigation using the compass.

 

This year’s offroad adventures have been with my good friend Wendy DiCaprio and focused on a combination of rockhounding and exploration of some of the many trails taking us to remnants of homesteads, old graveyards and other unique features not seen from the paved road.

Since we sold our RV, I will be exploring less with my husband but hopefully getting in some fishing, kayaking, camping and hiking.
