Team “Hatari!” is me – C.B. Stevens – and my wife Erica. I came to 4×4 and Overlanding late in life, when I bought a brand new Jeep Gladiator in 2019 (though I did spend a lot of time in a Humvee about 30 years ago).  Got over 90,000 miles on that Jeep now, and hope to do the PanAm Highway and Africa with it before it runs out of odometer. I love the technical driving, but I really love navigation, especially map & compass navigation, and getting out into the wild places on the planet. Erica and I do orienteering, and now that I’m turning into an old man I also do triathlon to keep my body from seizing up… I’m a seasoned traveller, having worked in over 40 countries and lived in Africa for nearly ten years.  My advice: See it before it’s gone!
