Up until I bought my lightly used 2020 Jeep 4 door Rubicon, I had always been the navigator on off road adventures with my husband. My Jeep was purchased with an inheritance although I am sure my mother is rolling her eyes up in heaven, even now. Since I was new to driving off road, I named her Wannabee as I wanted to be a Jeeper. I had her wrapped in purple, my favorite color. I joined several local Jeep groups and enjoyed wheeling and discovering remote sites not seen from the main roads.
Less than a year later, I went offcamber on an easy descent and tipped. My Jeep was repaired and looked lovely Jeep new; but my self confidence was shattered. I joined Ladies OffRoad Network, determined to learn more about my Jeep and to improve my off road driving skills. I also wanted to get back to my original goal when I bought my Jeep; exploring and discovering remote sites and learning about the history of the area.
