Week 9 of the Nomad Overland Rally saw a lot of action as Teams tried to grab as many points as they could. With the competition nearing an end, we are starting to see 5,000+ points for those at the top of the Leaderboard. There are seven teams over the 4,000 point-level, and the gaps continue to narrow. Team 101 Mercer moved into First Place with 5,365 points. Team 117 Lucas slipped to Second Place with 5,296 points. Team 110 Smigiel climbed back into Third Place with 5,219 points. The Week 9 Challenge, “Wildlife Observation,” gave a good boost to some teams, and all the teams who completed it did fairly well. Teams still have one more week to give it a try. Meanwhile Challenge #10 was released this morning and it’s a moderately challenging one to close out the Rally — “Recovery Basics.”
